Banana Blondies

 1 cup butter

6 very ripe bananas

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 eggs

3 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips


1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Cream butter. Add bananas, sugars, vanilla, and eggs and mix well. Add flour, soda, and salt and mix well. Mix in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.

3. Spread into greased 13×9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips on top.

4. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes. Use a knife to swirl the melted chips on top. Return to oven and bake another 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

  1. I was looking for a way to use up some ripe bananas aside from banana bread or muffins. My kids are sick of those and I came across this recipe. SO GOOD! My kids loved it and I served it to company the next day. My friend said she could eat the entire batch. My 7 year old is begging me to make it again, thanks for the great recipe!
